Flow has integrated the Axelar network, becoming the 70th chain to connect and the first to do so via Axelar's Mobius Development Stack (MDS). Flow is a consumer-focused blockchain with mainstream applications from NBA Top Shot, Ticketmaster and CryptoKitties. This integration, powered by Axelar's Mobius Development Stack (MDS), marks a significant milestone for both Flow and Axelar Network. 

This integration, now live on mainnet, unlocks permissionless cross-chain tokenization and transfers for Flow applications as the next generation of innovative consumer apps enter Axelar's multichain Web3 ecosystem. Axelar easily connects blockchains of any consensus mechanism, via Interchain Amplifier. With the rise of new non-EVM layer-1s, this capability will make Axelar unique among interoperability protocols for its ability to connect all blockchains.

Powered by the AXL token

Amplifier leverages Axelar Network's native token AXL to incentivize Verifiers without network inflation, supporting secure and scalable connectivity across the entire Web3 ecosystem. This has replaced inflation-based rewards, and is aligned with a proposed mechanism that would send AXL transaction fees to a burn address (subject to on-chain governance vote).
